DESCRIPTION:Austin T. Fragomen\, Jr. is a partner and chairman of the executive committee of Fragomen\, Del Rey\, Bernsen and Loewy\, LLP\, an AMLaw 100 firm specializing in global immigration law with offices in 25 countries. He earned his law degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. Mr. Fragomen serves as Chairman of the Business Advisory Committee to the U.N. Global Forum on Migration and Development and as Vice Chairman of the Board of the Jesuit Refugee Service/USA. He is a Board Member of The Metropolitan Opera\, The Palm Beach Civic Association\, New York Yacht Club\, and the Center for Migration Studies and an Editorial Board Member of the International Migration Review and an Advisory Board Member of the Institute on International Migration of Georgetown University. He is the co-author of two treatises of immigration law and series of Handbooks and a frequent writer and commentator. He previously has served as Chairman of the City Bar Justice Center\, an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York University School of Law and Assistant Counsel to the Judiciary Committee\, U.S. House of Representatives. \n
