Bill Hannay is a partner in the Chicago-based law firm, Schiff Hardin LLP. A graduate of Yale College and Georgetown Law School, Bill concentrates his practice in U.S. and international antitrust and trade regulation. He is a past chair of the ABA Section of International Law and served in the ABA House of Delegates and on the Board of the ABA Rule of Law Initiative. He is the Co-Chair of the Uniform Law Commission’s Joint Editorial Board for International Law and a member of the Executive Committee for the Union Internationale des Avocats. He is the author of nine treatises, including ones on antitrust law, unfair trade practices, international law, and the FCPA. Bill has been adjunct professor of law at Chicago-Kent Law School for more than 20 years.
